Welcome to the Fall 2024 / Spring 2025 JCSA Co-ed/Girls Recreation Registration! 

Since 1978, Jersey City Soccer Association (JCSA) has been Jersey City's #1 PREMIER youth soccer program welcoming boys and girls ages 4 through high-school. JCSA runs a recreational soccer league through FALL and SPRING with a break in WINTER. The FALL season starts in September and runs through mid-November. The SPRING season starts in April and runs through mid- June.  

This registration fee pays for the complete Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 Season (uniform is included). 
Once you register, your child will be rostered to a team.  Your specific team information will be available closer to the September Opening Day which is usually after Labor Day.  Prior to Opening Day, you will be contacted by your team's coach or a division point person with more details. The team's player roster, game and training dates as well as field locations will be posted on the JCSA website and in the Sports Engine App, which we strongly recommend you download.  It is available from the Apple Store and Google Play.
Recreation games are usually scheduled on a Saturday, between 8:00am and 3:00pm.  Training, specific to each age group, is held once a week on a weeknight, and is led by professional SEFT (School of Elite Football Training) coaches. Saturday games are coached by volunteer parent coaches, so please select the option to volunteer if you would like to coach your child's team or help in any way.
JCSA is a 501c(3) non-profit 100% run by volunteer parents.  We need and welcome your help!

JCSA now operates two separate Recreation Programs: Girls ONLY and CO-ED.
Based on prior years of rec registration, we estimate that the program will be broken down into the following age divisions:

COED Registration Status by age/division:

Munchkins - birth year 2019/20 [OPEN]
Short Shots - birth year 2017/18  [OPEN]
Juniors - birth year 2015/16 [OPEN]
Championship - birth year 2013/14 [OPEN]
Premier - birth year 2010/11/12 [CLOSED] - Waitlist in effect

GIRLS Registration Status by age/division:

Genesis: birth year 2017/18 [CLOSED]
Evolution: birth year 2014/15/16  [CLOSED]
Performance: birth year 2009/10/11/12/13  [CLOSED]

Every year, to help families who cannot afford the registration fee, JCSA provides a scholarship program to reduce the cost of registration.  As you're registering, you will be asked whether you would like to contribute to this program.  This is completely voluntary and we welcome any amount.  The funds will go into a separate account and will be distributed, based on availability, to families who meet our scholarship requirements.

Winter Training may also be offered at additional cost, contingent on indoor space availability. 
Information about any additional training programs or school break camps will be communicated to all JCSA families.
